BLUE RIVER RECYCLING EMS

The first Blue River Recycling plant is realized near the river Ems, at the site of BERA terminal in the port of Papenburg, Germany, where alternative fuels have been transshipped since 2004.

In cooperation with Nehlsen AG as local partner, one of the five leading waste management companies in Germany, non-recyclable mixed plastics will be used for the production of environmentally responsible alternative fuel pellets.

State-of-the-art technology and fully automated quality control guarantee the consistently high and homogeneous output as well as the high-calorific value of the pellets.

The sustainable energy concept with its own combined heat and power unit for self-sufficient energy supply makes this new plant the most innovative of its kind. Its production capacity will achieve up to 100,000 tonnes of pellets annually.
